the animation was awesome.
I really experienced a fresh look in it.
So you said you are practicing photoshop CS4.
hey i can see your skills in it.
And the vector sketches of characters are also admirable.

i don't want you to feel down
what i am going to say take it as a suggestion.
" you have to work keenly and sharply on photoshop,
I know you will be an awesome animator one day,
for that you have to polish your photoshop skills,
I know you have seen many of the Proxicide's movies,
What do you see in it? a clear vision says that he uses
third party softwares ( Photoshop, After effects, Particle effects etc.)
to give his animation a very smooth and awesome look."

those effects & your fight choregraphy is really admirable.

nice sequel.
but still there are some things you should remember next time
don't treat this review as a critical review
1) The glow you used in flash sucks, in my opinion you should try to regenerate the glow using photoshop. coz i noticed the edges of fireball were differ from glow,
but in photoshop you will see a nice merging of sprite and glow.

2) your scripting part is allright. I have no comment for it,
Why don't you try your hands on photoshop it will make your animation glowy, neat and sparky.

3) Third and the last one thing you should keep in mind is that you used same stage in sequel i think there should be same stage but add some effects and modification to for bright and neat look.
